Quadruple Plate:  A name given to high quality silverplate wares using four
times as much fine silver in the electroplating process as standard silverplate.
Quenching:  The cooling of metal during annealing by immersion in water.
Quaich:  A Scottish drinking vessel used traditionally to offer a guest a cup of welcome (a bit of whisky or brandy)
and also a farewell drink.
