Philadelphia, PA  1846-1878  Successor to Bailey & Kitchen.  When Eli
Westcot Bailey, the brother of Bailey & Kitchen founder Joseph T. Bailey,
along with James Gallagher and Jeremiah Robbins joined Bailey & Kitchen, they formed
a new partnership and named the new company Bailey & Co.  Joseph T. Bailey II was
added as a partner in 1856.  Founder Joseph T. Bailey died in 1854.  Forerunner to
Bailey Banks and Biddle.

George W. Banks and Samuel Biddle joined forces with
Joseph T. Bailey II in 1878 and formed Bailey Banks and Biddle.  The name was

novelties made by other manufacturers.  Merged with Jason Weiler Co., a diamond and jewelery concern, c.
1930 and moved to Boston, changing the name at that time to the Jason Weiler Baird-North Co.
